The rigid layout of a pre-designed builder floor is transformed through design interventions into a more livable space. Keeping the livable aspect as the focal point, importance is placed in enhancing everyday life. This is achieved by keeping the guest areas in the center and designing them in a dark intriguing way. On the other hand, spaces that are at the heart of everyday functions are made more livable and important, by prioritising natural light and how it filters into these areas.
